Life @ 300kmph - Monaco GP

I welcome you all to my first published Blog.

A blog about - Life @ 300kmph , You guessed it right. Its about the Formula 1 Racing. Yeah its a rare formula of course.

The physical turmoils that a driver undergoes in a race

1. He is subjected to a force of 5G

G FORCE - An acceleration of 1 g is generally considered as equal to standard gravity.

2. A driver may lose nearly 4 to 5Kg after a single race.

3. Heart rate increases very rapidly to un-imaginable figures

Poor guys but the passion and will power and commitment drives them to success.

Thats the reason why i started off with this blog.

Monac0 2009

Monaco in Monte Carlos Spain is one of the oldest circuits for F1 racing.

Its the first of its kind, A normal city Street road is used for racing. Bumpy roads, Narrow lanes

with barriers on both sides. The most difficult part of the race is the adaptability of the drivers'

eye with the change in the lighting.

The race has a tunnel which is lit by normal lights. This is the only speed trap region in the race

where drivers touch their maximum speed (nearly 289kmph) and immediately after the tunnel

the drivers must see the bright broad day light which will be blindingly bright. Driver must

adapt quickly for that change.

The most striking feature of monaco race is top 12 drivers where separated just by 1 Second

during their qualifying rounds. Such a compettitive race ever seen

This years race started off brilliantly with Jenson Button(Brawn GP) at the pole position.

Kimi Raikkonen(Ferrari) was at his best of this year with Second in qualifying.

As the race started off , Jenson 's team mate Rubens Barrichello(Oldest and UNNOTICED BEST Driver in F1) immediately overtook Raikkonen for the second place.

As the race veered off , Jenson pulled stunning laps to take big lead ahead.

As usual Rubens Barrichello was considered the second driver by Brawn was at second position

Raikkonnen and his team mate Felipe Massa drove brilliantly from start to finish with stunning

lap times better than the race leader Jenson Button. Defending champion Hamilton (McLaren

Mercedes) was struggling with his poor car followed by crashing in the qualifying which pushed

him back at the starting grid. There were many crashes from the start to end.

Drivers have to drive with " inch - perfect " perfection to complete this race.

Finally Jenson Button won the race (as usual) - here is the link for results- Results

Most fantastic race ever in this calendar year. Best ever for Ferrari in 2009.

More to come for the calendar year, In F1 and my Blog
